The somewhat standard but now rare and collectible oval original Civil War period Officer's Dress Hardee Eagle Insignia. This hard tinned backed piece of insignia is in very good condition. Sized at 2 1/4 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall. With the sequins present in the eagle's wings, this points to the correct CW period of use. Nice with only minor moth damage ot the rear. One loop on rear is broken off the second is bent over slightly.

 

This is a very nice CW piece that displays great with insignia and headgear.
